They called my daughter who had the sense to conduct a three way call and involve me, Unfortunately, the caller upset her before she pulled me in by saying someone stole her identity, purchased a car in Texas, they found blood in the car which means someone is deceased and they are coming after her. He asked for her social security number and how much money was in her account. Needless to say I was irate. I asked for his credentials and his phone number which he couldn"t provide. He gave me 4 different phone numbers and and proceeded to tell me that I was wringing it down wrong. , I also asked for the spelling of his name. He couldn"t spell it properly. He then proceeds to talk overt me to speak with my daughter and asks for her to just answer the last question. I made her hang up immediately. I called the number back and it appeared to be someones cell phone. The person called back then says he missed my call. It was the same guy. When I call him out to say I know he"s a scammer and to never call my daughter again he says he called on accident he was trying to call his girlfriend. He had a thick Indian accent. SOMEONE FIND THIS SCAMMER AND DEAL WITH HIM!!!

Received call telling me I would be arrested for unpaid taxes. I told them IRS doesn’t call and collect money. Told him to stop calling and he informed me that it will cost me 0 to have my number removed. I asked them how they haven’t been busted yet for scamming people. He told me that they work in our country and America helps their country and gives them money to operate. After that I just hung up!! Would be nice if they could catch these guys, but it’s so rampant that I’m sure authorities don’t have time to pursue this nonsense. Feel bad for those that fall victim to their BS!!

I got the same call about the IRS filing a lawsuit against me. I worked for the IRS, they just don"t leave voice recorded messages saying that they suing you. A person might be notified of an audit but I"ve only known one person ever who went to trial against them and they initiated it. Seriously, don"t people have better things to do than bother people with this kind of c**p?

I was sent a text message from 202-239-5371 on 8/1/18 at 2:31pm. It read: "Hello, this is the investigation department and we have lawsuit on your name & there are three serious criminal charges has been pressed on your name, so for more information contact us on this email DEBT.LAW502@GMAIL.com before the warrant is issued." My response "The IRS does not sent texts. Get a life loser." My text message went through, then I proceeded to send gross p**n to the same phone number, and it was obvious that he had blocked me. I got a notification from my provider saying " Oops! Your message to 202-239-5371 cannot be delivered as the destination address is not valid. Please verify the number." Part of my wants to just mess with this guy and send him weird emails from various accounts. So annoying.

I had the same thing happen. A message stating a lawsuit is about to be filed against me and to call them back. They said all my accounts would be frozen and I would be arrested. I call the number back and a man with an Indian accent clammed to be the IRS. The call back number they left in the message was 202-239-7339.

Left a partial message with just the phone number. Called back and a heavy accent answered saying he was at the IRS. Wanted my name so he could pull my file. I told him the IRS does not make phone calls, they send letters and hung up.

This number sent me a group text with one other number and me. I did not recognize the other number either, which was (347) 816-0388. The text sent a link for supposed free products from Amazon. The text read, “See worthy find, Rebecca It seems like something youd appreciate bopbiq.co,:;EE0bWqw.” It also had a picture that said, “Free Stuff,” next to a shopping bag with “Amazon” written on it.
I blocked my number and tried to call both numbers. This number the text came from (323) 775-7100, went straight to a message that said, “This number has not setup their voicemail,” and hung up. When I called the other number that was part of the group (347) 816-0388, a lady answered and said hello, but I just hung up. I blocked both numbers and did not click on the link.
