Called, and hung up without a word being said. It bothers me because it called my cell. I liked it better when my cellphone wasn"t targeted. This is what we have to look forward to on cells in the future. I"ll be using walkie talkies before too long!

Fake call, spammer keeps calling saying I stayed in one of the resorts in the past and now I won A free trip to their Orlando resort in Disney or something like that. It"s always the same woman that calls and that seem annoying eccentric voice she uses The same trick every time once you to Decline she will say I can"t hear you sorry there"s something wrong with my headset then try to proceed to send you off to their customer Service line. I Believe it"s one of the calls were they try to make you say the word "yes" they pre-recorded it and use it later it"s a big hacking trick. Don"t respond hang up.

I had a call on my cell phone. It looked like a legitimate call, so I answered it. I thought it was an actual person on other end . He said his name was Josh and asked if I could hear him. I unknowingly answered yes. He then began saying I had won a trip to Disney World. It was at that point I realized it was a telemarketer or scammer and hung up.

Pretty sure this is a scam. We"ve caught on. Girlfriend keeps getting calls from what looks like a local number. Each and every time we answer the call, we don"t even say "hello" anymore, we wait for them to play their recorded message. It"s ALWAYS some recording of a woman giggling then proceeding to talk about how her headset isn"t working.... then talking about how we stayed at their resort--(we"ve never been to a resort in our entire lives mind you)..Then we hang up. The number(s) they use to call us have the same area code as ours so I"m guessing they have access to a program that allows them to call from any number they desire. Luckily they are targeting a smartphone and not a landline so we"ve easily blocked their number(s) but they end up calling back using a NEW NUMBER WITH THE SAME AREA CODE EVERY SINGLE TIME. Please do not let these people record you. Don"t be deceived.

Female called and said she was from customer service. My reply was "customer service where". At this point I could tell it was pre-recorded because she said great and the call went on with the rest of the pitch and I hung up. Never answer with an affirmative reply.

This number sent me a group text with one other number and me. I did not recognize the other number either, which was (347) 816-0388. The text sent a link for supposed free products from Amazon. The text read, “See worthy find, Rebecca It seems like something youd appreciate bopbiq.co,:;EE0bWqw.” It also had a picture that said, “Free Stuff,” next to a shopping bag with “Amazon” written on it.
I blocked my number and tried to call both numbers. This number the text came from (323) 775-7100, went straight to a message that said, “This number has not setup their voicemail,” and hung up. When I called the other number that was part of the group (347) 816-0388, a lady answered and said hello, but I just hung up. I blocked both numbers and did not click on the link.
