I have received more than one of these calls. This time I called back from a number that was not my own. Lot"s of dead air and someone accidently picked up call, I heard a call center in the background and then was hung up on. Second time I called, the call answered as busy after some 3-5 seconds of silence.

Received a recorded message stating I owed money to IRS and had (?) days to respond before I would be taken into custody by the local police. Called back and was greeted by a live person at what sounded like a call center. I did not respond, but the person identified me (through caller ID) and he eventually hung up. Voice sounded like possible British accent.

Very helpful received call just like this from. this number. I didn"t answer and let it go to voice mail. They stated I had 24 hours to get back to them to discuss the case they had against me that included 4 serious allegations. If I didn"t get back to them within that time period they would have me arrested by the local police. They never identified who they were calling on behalf of or what the matter was in regards to. Thank you for posting this information and hopefully we can get these people caught sooner than later.
