Said my computer was compromised by hackers. I told him I haven"t used my laptop for a long time and that it"s been turned off so he must have the wrong person, then after a long pause, he said "well it doesn"t matter if it"s on or off, the hackers already have your info blablabla". I was gonna humor him more but it was getting boring so I just hung up. Meh.

He"s called me four times from this number saying the same thing every time, about how he is with Window"s Support, when i tell him Window"s Support doesn"t exist and that it would be called Microsoft Support he says. Well i"m calling to inform you hacker"s have been trying to get into your computer, then i ask him, okay whats my IP Address he said i don"t know but i"ll need that, then i ask him what the make and model of my computer is and he doesn"t know(Which microsoft support would know since i"v called them before.). He then proceeded to realize that i figured him out and repeated this exact qoute "AHHHHWHOOPWHOOPWHOOPWHOOP" and hung up.

This has happened four times.

Said he was from Microsoft and my computer was sending error messages that indicated several hackers were trying to gain access to my computer. Wanted me to let them help me find the names of the hackers on my computer and block them. When I told him I would call Microsoft directly, he gave me a customer service# that was one digit off from the number he was calling from. So I"d say 707-666-7654 is bogus as well.

I have a really cheap computer I got from a friend when he got a new one and I’ve been researching how to write a virus for fun (you can find YouTube tutorials) and I wanted to see if something worked (bad idea) well it worked and my computer hasn’t been working ever since. Well I get a call “your computer has been hacked over the past few days” and I haven’t been on my computer for months. So I go ahead and tell him that I’m an infamous hacker trying to use a “windows loop”(???) and that I’ve been traced lately and if he could help me get the “enemy hacker” off of my tail I would give him some money. The conversation kinda went downhill from there and I hung up. 10/10 would do again!

This number sent me a group text with one other number and me. I did not recognize the other number either, which was (347) 816-0388. The text sent a link for supposed free products from Amazon. The text read, “See worthy find, Rebecca It seems like something youd appreciate bopbiq.co,:;EE0bWqw.” It also had a picture that said, “Free Stuff,” next to a shopping bag with “Amazon” written on it.
I blocked my number and tried to call both numbers. This number the text came from (323) 775-7100, went straight to a message that said, “This number has not setup their voicemail,” and hung up. When I called the other number that was part of the group (347) 816-0388, a lady answered and said hello, but I just hung up. I blocked both numbers and did not click on the link.
