I was told the IRS had an arrest warrant against me. I called the number and told them the IRS does not call people to inform them of arrest warrants. He said yes, I have a warrant and the IRS sent notices in the mail. I told them they have the wrong person and I know this is a scam... I should not have told them I was 75 years of age because he was probably gathering information but besides my name that"s all he has...He said he was going to check my account and put me on hold... he did not come back... I received a voicemail from an automated recording that said I had criminal charges against me and to call back right away before the cops come to get me! Hahaha, right. I knew this was a scam, so I called back to F with them, however, they quickly connected my call to a man who said he"s been getting these calls all day long and that he was being harassed as well.
