Ask you by name as soon as you answer. I had nothing to do that night, so I started toying with them. I wouldn"t say a word, they would hang up after about 20 seconds of silence. I would immediately call back. Repeated this around 30-40 times. Then got bored and started playing some music for them. Finally they just asked their supervisor if they could delete the number. ....Yes, of course you can delete MY number that I never gave out to you. So, I may be mean, but if your job is to call random numbers and try to bribe them into buying something they already have...get a better job!

I recognized this as a Windows scam call and decided to string him along for a while. The call ended acrimoniously and then he called back and left a lengthy and vulgar voicemail message. It"s best to not answer the phone for numbers that you don"t recognize.
