number is involved in a scam, the person wants you to buy an item and send them the difference. This is similar to a craigslist scam and should be disregarded.
One important thing to mention: This number may belong to a completely legitimate person who is not connected to the actual con artist.
If ever anyone contacts you with instructions on how to buy something and asks for money to be sent disregard it.
