They"ve called 3 times in 2 days. Thinking it was a friend in Longmont area, I stupidly answered the first time. A male voice asked for one of my relatives who hasn"t lived here in 10 years. I hung up without comment. Scammers for sure..

Same exact scenario. The man originally asked for my husband. He said they were part of the law enforcement and wanted a one time donation of , or You get transferred to a person who’s English is not that great they talk fast and they want you to verify your address. You must send your donation one week after you receive the envelope. I became more suspicious as the conversation went on. They left a call back number of 855-611-3131 which pulls up ALEUA American Law Enforcement which says it is an independent expenditure-only committee, but that"s not the number they called me from. I will not be sending a check or money order either until I check into this group more.

These people have called me half a dozen times now. Each time, the call starts “May I speak with Kathleen”. When you say there is not Kathleen here, they go into their speak about supporting law enforcement and asking for money.

Having received the same call several times, its obvious this is fraud. Do not take their calls.

Called ask for someone named desika. I said no one here by that name. In a threatening voice as I felt threatened at that point he said with the Longmont police department and would not shut up. I hung up.

We get the same calls often, always the same voice, same pitch, very reluctant to give any information but pushy for money. The police and fire department never solicit over the phone, so definitely scammers. We NEVER give money over the phone or to anything in the mail. There"s more scammers today than honest people. Find the real charity"s address, THEN donate.

This number sent me a group text with one other number and me. I did not recognize the other number either, which was (347) 816-0388. The text sent a link for supposed free products from Amazon. The text read, “See worthy find, Rebecca It seems like something youd appreciate bopbiq.co,:;EE0bWqw.” It also had a picture that said, “Free Stuff,” next to a shopping bag with “Amazon” written on it.
I blocked my number and tried to call both numbers. This number the text came from (323) 775-7100, went straight to a message that said, “This number has not setup their voicemail,” and hung up. When I called the other number that was part of the group (347) 816-0388, a lady answered and said hello, but I just hung up. I blocked both numbers and did not click on the link.
