Replied to an item I had on Craigslist. First was a text. Then asked me to send pics to an email. Then the same old I will give you a cashiers check and my mover will pick item up at your location. Yadda yadda yadda. I told them I would have to pass and to have a nice day. Insisted on trying to talk me into it not really being a scam and why I should have more faith in people. Lol :-)

This person continued to attempt to contact me and tried to get me to accept a cashiers check. I asked the person to not attempt to contact me again, this person continued. I did find the Ella Walters is a town in Iowa...not a person"s name. To stop contact I stated in a txt message "This is ur last warning or I will forward all contact and messages to the authorities its a felony across state lines." This stopped the txt messages....thank goodness.

This person wanted to purchase a dryer from me I had listed on craigslist, and wanted to pay by cashiers check and have their delivery driver pick it up when I put the cashiers check into my bank account. I responded with "cash no checks thank you" This person responded that they are an "honest widow". I responded with "you are in Iowa, there is no way you are an honest widow, do not contact me again."

This number sent me a group text with one other number and me. I did not recognize the other number either, which was (347) 816-0388. The text sent a link for supposed free products from Amazon. The text read, “See worthy find, Rebecca It seems like something youd appreciate bopbiq.co,:;EE0bWqw.” It also had a picture that said, “Free Stuff,” next to a shopping bag with “Amazon” written on it.
I blocked my number and tried to call both numbers. This number the text came from (323) 775-7100, went straight to a message that said, “This number has not setup their voicemail,” and hung up. When I called the other number that was part of the group (347) 816-0388, a lady answered and said hello, but I just hung up. I blocked both numbers and did not click on the link.
