I received the same voicemail as above. I called back twice, the first time the guy hung up on me when I said I didn"t live in Monterey. The second time I spoke to a lady and she asked for my name when I said I was not a Monterey resident. When I questioned if she was really the IRS she said yes, but when I challenged her and the voicemail she said "thank you very much" and hung up. SCAM SCAM SCAM

Robot voice telling me I had charges against me for tax issues and needed to call back or I"d be arrested within 24 hours. Total scam, the IRS would never do this or anyone legitimate. Everyone ignore and do not answer as these scammers have sometimes sent hired thugs to people"s doors if they confirm an address/live person on the other end of the line. Reported to FTC as fraud and blocked the number.

They have called multiple times saying there are at least 4 serious allegations against me and if i don"t respond legal action will be taken. They have called other times and said a warrant will be issued if I don"t call and resolve the issue. It is getting ridiculous.

Voice left me a message telling that I will be arrested if I do not return their call. I call them and left a message that if they do not stop this, I will report them to homeland security. I also told them to stretch their muscles and use their head to find a decent way to earn a living.

Just received the same call...sounded like a scam. I returned the call and they hung up on me. Appears that they might be targeting a certain demographic because as soon as I started talking they hung up. Very disappointing that these types of calls happen.

This number sent me a group text with one other number and me. I did not recognize the other number either, which was (347) 816-0388. The text sent a link for supposed free products from Amazon. The text read, “See worthy find, Rebecca It seems like something youd appreciate bopbiq.co,:;EE0bWqw.” It also had a picture that said, “Free Stuff,” next to a shopping bag with “Amazon” written on it.
I blocked my number and tried to call both numbers. This number the text came from (323) 775-7100, went straight to a message that said, “This number has not setup their voicemail,” and hung up. When I called the other number that was part of the group (347) 816-0388, a lady answered and said hello, but I just hung up. I blocked both numbers and did not click on the link.
