Received a call saying a lawsuit was going to be filed against me and to call this number back immediately. I think this is a scam. The voicemail did not name the "firm" this number is supposed to be associated with nor what the complaint/claims would actually be.

This number called and left voicemails with my family members which were clear violations of FDCPA. When I called them back I was told they were a mediation firm handeling a suit against me that I could “settle over the phone with payment”. They refused to provide me with any written documentation and when I asked for it the representative repeatedly interrupted me, spoke over me and referred to me as a “low life” that “didn’t want to pay my bills”. I asked to speak with a suoervisor and when someone else came on the line I pointed out that speaking to me this way and threatening me was a violation of my rights and that as they pointed out: the call was being recorded. She apologized, and then continued to attempt to collect payment from me over the phone without providing me with supporting documents or a chance to verify the claim. This is clearly a scam. I am concerned that these people actually posess some valid information about me, such as my previous banking instatution, family phone numbers, addresses of mine from many years ago and the LAST 4 OF MY SOCIAL!!!!! Scary stuff.

Just called, left voicemail:
Repeated my first name with a lady name I haven"t used for 7 years, we need you or your lawyers to call this number, repeated twice, refer to case file, repeated twice, hung up.

Yes, it"s a scam. Knowing any debt collector will have mailed something to your current address first before phone calls start, and they will say what form they are with our at least their name. This guy rushed through that information.

They not only have called my cell, but called my Mom, whom they scared with their aggressive tactics. They have all sorts of personal information and that worries me. Obviously some former company I applied for something with sold my information to them. It is a scam though.

got a call to my former employer from this number. They claim they will be filing a suit and serving my with papers if i did not call back. I called the number they left and the person that answered was a jerk and forward my call to a so called legal department. This is supposedly about a debt over 12 years ago . Are you kidding me??? a debt i never have very upsetting.

This phone number called me at around 10:05 AM HST but rejected it, then a voicemail came up about civil rights, husband, a person named Weigl, and Florida. I don"t live in Florida and we don"t have a person named "Weigl" here. Plus, the person talks like she"s on a rush to something.

This number sent me a group text with one other number and me. I did not recognize the other number either, which was (347) 816-0388. The text sent a link for supposed free products from Amazon. The text read, “See worthy find, Rebecca It seems like something youd appreciate bopbiq.co,:;EE0bWqw.” It also had a picture that said, “Free Stuff,” next to a shopping bag with “Amazon” written on it.
I blocked my number and tried to call both numbers. This number the text came from (323) 775-7100, went straight to a message that said, “This number has not setup their voicemail,” and hung up. When I called the other number that was part of the group (347) 816-0388, a lady answered and said hello, but I just hung up. I blocked both numbers and did not click on the link.
