Who calls from 8664672707

This number called me and my sister. They told my sister that they were County Sheriff"s Dept, from a county i havent lived in for over 4 years, and that they had a warrant for my arrest, needing her to contact them immediately. They left me a voicemail stating they had a legal matter to discuss, and of i did not return their call, a warrant for my arrest would be placed out. Total scammers, as my brother is a cop in the county that they claimed to be Sherrifs in, and there is NO warrant or legal matter deserving of a warrant, in my name.

Called from this number. Caller used my maiden name, been married many many years, asking to have me relay message to my niece regarding a pending civil suit against her. Left number and name of Laner ands Gats...not sure of spelling. Per niece this is a scam. I looked up number and found no links to a law office or collection agency. No links for lawyers by that name but I could have spelling wrong. I am not calling them back.

This is a legit agency. I did all my research and spoke with them many times. They do meditations for collection agency"s to come to a settlement/agreement before legal actions are taken. I found they was very polite and understanding, very nice people! However I cannot comment on the collection agency"s they are working for. But I can tell you, Lehner Kellehner, Gatz and their associates are all very professional. They contacted me 1 time for a debt in my name for a collection agencys that was not able to get into touch with me. I read everyone elses reviews here and I understand their concerns as you can never tell these days if people are out to scam you. This law firm is far from that. So if you are contacted by them I can assure you they are legit. I tested them many times threw out our conversations and one reason why myself and you will not be able to find info on them on the web is because they had a security breach where someone who did at one time find their info online went directly to their office and criminally threaten one of the employees life. Theres one review here where its said that Mr Gatz raises his voice. He actually does not, he sometimes can get loud but never unprofessional. I too am a very loud person and I can see how that might come across the wrong way. Mr Gatz was very kind, understanding to my situation and showed empathy, I truly appreciate that as its rare these days to find that in a law firm or anyone for that matter. I spoke with Mr Gatz and his secretary many times within this week and after all my testing to make sure this was not some type of scam, we was able to come to a good out come and was able to settle the debt.

Possible scam.
They called a relatives phone. Left a voice mail directed towards me. Telling me a civil complaint was filed against me in the county where I USED to live. Going on to say that I had 72 hours to respond or they was going ahead with the civil suit. I called them back the next day. They had all the info for that debt and all my info but they said the company I had my debt with gave them all the info. I found that to be untrue when I called that company myself. The company I allegedly owe the debt to gave me the name and number of the collection agency they used. I then called the collection agency this company uses and found they sold it off and I got that contact info to who they sold the debt to. I called them too and was told they too sold it off. This account was sold of many times.
I then called these people back, Lehner & Gatz. I spoke with Joyce. At one point I said, I recently did a credit check on myself and that this debt was not on any record, (not all debts show on credit reports unless you call the collections directly then they can go into deeper depth of the accounts), Thats when Joyce told me it has not gone to collections as of yet. This too was false as I was told by the company that is owed this dept that this has been in collections for 3 years. She seemed to have a difficult time into convincing me to pay them what I allegedly owe, so she transferred me to a man named Mr Gatz who acted more like a cop than a collections agent/ lawyer. He would raise his voice trying to corner me into a payment. And when he told me maybe a family member stole my info and made these charges that I would have to sue that person. I then told him Ide go to court and talk to the judge. Thats when Mr Gatz lied and told me I then would be stuck with fines and fees for this person. He tried to also convince me that I could pay him by phone with a credit card. He seemed to only care about getting the money. I was told if I did not agree to a payment that I was going to be served papers for this civil complaint and that I would have to appear in court on a already set date. How can this be? Theres already a set date that Im to be served? (Ive never been threw this before & I do not know how this works but I will be following up on this with the courts on Monday)
I also told Mr Gatz that I called this company that I allegedly owe this debt and was advice by that company to file a police report and call them back when I had it and they would revoke the debt from collections and clear my name. Thats when Mr Gatz got annoyed changing his tone to irritated. I could tell he thought he was out of money at that point. He did everything in his power to convince me to pay him right away, I refused and continued to tell him Ill wait to be served and talk to the judge myself. He also told me that there was payment made to this debt I told him the company that is owed this debt told me otherwise. Mr Gatz tried to convince me that I was wrong.
Mr Gatz raised his voice at me many times talking over me trying to corner me into admitting to this debt.
Ive been doing a lot of researching these types of calls and found most times this is a scam. Im not sure still though if this is a scam or not so Monday morning Im going to call the district courts myself and find out if this compliant really exist. I also googled everything on this company, Lehner and Gatz and could find NOTHING on them accept 2 other law firms, one in Texas & one in Missouri, both with similar names spelled differently.

Left a message on my cell phone with my name and last 4 digits of my social security number. They are scammers. They did not say what company they are calling from and just said it"s Theresa. I am not calling them back and will not answer them if they call again.
