I called this number back and the person answering the phone had a prepared script about collecting to support for our veterans, etc., etc. I am a veteran and it seems like "organizations" are popping up every day with a line about supporting veterans. There a many reputable organizations out there that do support veterans and many ways to provide those organizations with contributions. I am not a fan of cold calling from any charity so I asked that my name and number be removed from their list. If this organization is legit then I think they need a better way to approach people for donations. Again, to anyone out there who reads this, phone scams are on the rise and it is so difficult to separate the legit from the scams based on a cold call. If you want to support veteran causes please check with your state and the federal websites before donating any money to make sure that your contributions are indeed going to support veterans and the hard working folks who are running these reputable organizations. Unfortunately, scammers come in all shapes, sizes, colors, ages, etc. etc. and the best scammers are the ones who pull at our emotional strings. Donating blindly over the phone or if they offer to send you a kit in the mail is not the way to go - and they often offer to mail you package in the mail. Again, check with your state, federal or local VFW, American Legion to find out ways you can insure that you are really helping out a veteran and a legitimate veteran organization, and put your donation where it can do the most good.

Found this number on my caller id. I thought it was the number of one of my clients so I called it. The guy comes on and say Hi, can you hear me ok. I said yes and asked for my client by name. The guy asked who is (the name of my client)? When I tried to tell him sorry, wrong number, he began an interrogation. He said I should have gotten a pre-recorded message.Claimed he was with business services and wanted access to my computer. He also said something about Google analytic. They are trying to sell pain cream.. When asked, they told me they were calling from Baltimore, MD, even though it is a CA area code. It clearly was from a boiler room; I could hear the other operators. They told me the product contained Benzocaine and Lidocain, among some other items. She told me they will call my doctor to have him issue a prescription. (right, that would happen). They asked if I were under 65, I said yes, then she asked my birthday. I said why? she said to verify my age that I am younger than 65 . I said 1) I know how old I am, I told you I am, and 2) why do you have to be younger than 65 to experience pain relief. I asked what company manufactures this medicine, and although she told me the ingredients, she told me that only a doctor could tell me the company because that was a medical question. Really?
Seriously, stay away from this... It is a scam to find the age of seniors and get into their health records.
