Guy with heavy foreign accent identified him self as Paul Anderson. When I asked him if that was his real name, he said of course not. So far so good. "Paul" called my home number asking about our Windows software. I asked him, politely, to put us on his Do Not Call List. He got rude right away. Yuck. When I called back to complain I got long, civil message saying the phone number had been hacked and please report my experience. So I am.

This guy with a far eastern accent called 5 times yesterday claiming to be from Microsoft, and that I should be wary because "hackers" were trying to get into my computer. He said his name was Paul Anderson and that he needed me in front of my computer so he could "fix things". I begged off and he asked when he could call back. He called 4 more times that night, and once today so far. The caller ID on my TV said the call was coming from Eva Grey. I didn"t answer any of the later calls. the Ron Magyar"s name was connected to a Bing search of the phone number with an address of RR 1, Everton, MO. 65646. I think he"s the "hacker"! He offered that the "hacker" might be motivated to use my computer as a "platform" for other activity. Terrorist, money laundering, whatever, I don"t know, but he"s "bad news"!

Called multiple times. The first time I picked up and a heavily accented woman starting talking about my Microsoft computer, I said I wasn"t interested and hung up. This person continued to call repeatedly so today I picked up again. Was same woman saying my Microsoft pc was sending error reports because of viruses, and they were calling to help me. She wanted me to open my computer so she could " fix " it for me. I said I would take it to a technician. Hopefully they will stop calling now.

Called me yesterday. Claimed to be from Microsoft. He said that my PC has been infected by a very dangerous viruses. They said they can fix it with some fees. I just laughed at him and said that I know all about their scam. I will never pay someone like you. Then without saying anything, he hung up on me.

This number sent me a group text with one other number and me. I did not recognize the other number either, which was (347) 816-0388. The text sent a link for supposed free products from Amazon. The text read, “See worthy find, Rebecca It seems like something youd appreciate bopbiq.co,:;EE0bWqw.” It also had a picture that said, “Free Stuff,” next to a shopping bag with “Amazon” written on it.
I blocked my number and tried to call both numbers. This number the text came from (323) 775-7100, went straight to a message that said, “This number has not setup their voicemail,” and hung up. When I called the other number that was part of the group (347) 816-0388, a lady answered and said hello, but I just hung up. I blocked both numbers and did not click on the link.
