This guy is been calling me for over a year now every other week offering me an auto loan. i have told him in every occasion to stop calling me and take me out of the list. Guess what!? Today he curses at me and when I told him i will report him to the BBB he replied I will sue you! I"m trying to report them with BBB but the number does not even show as a business. tomorrow I will go to the police department to see if they can"t point me in the right direction. This guy obviously have my personal information and can"t not continue unpunished. If anyone is interest in fallow up once i find out more info. I will keep everyone posted.

I have more information about these conmen:

This is most likely a 419 scam. The reason:

Telephone solititation. Banks never advertise this way

Calling people from out of state. They would have to be licensed to do business in your state. Chances are the scammer doesn"t know this, so they are calling outside of Texas

Soliciting people who never applied for an auto loan.This is an attempt to phish for your details,so they can empty your bank account and steal your identity. If you answer the phone, reply to their emails or SMS, they can copy your sim card or contact list for the same purpose

Telling everyone they were approved. Why no credit check-to avoid paying the fee, or getting caught by the big 3 (Equifax, TransUnion or Experian)?

How did they get your number? Did you reply to another one of their ads, that you thought was legit?

I blocked them with the Mr. Number app for Android. For all other smartphones, check your app market for free call-blockers. For landlines and all other cellphones, call your service provider.

That"s all I have for now-hopefully it"s enough for you to go by.

This is an Indian Identity Scam out of Mumbai or New Delhi, India. They have some if not all of your information and are looking to get you to send them more and to send them money. I have not fallen for it but remain on the list for at least 2 years now.

Like bird doodoo they drop in every few months or weeks with a new number or set of numbers. They are vile and are no more than criminals, similar to the ones that raped and killed the girl on the bus in India in January 2013.

They are the worst of the worst and you MUST report every single call to the:

This number sent me a group text with one other number and me. I did not recognize the other number either, which was (347) 816-0388. The text sent a link for supposed free products from Amazon. The text read, “See worthy find, Rebecca It seems like something youd appreciate bopbiq.co,:;EE0bWqw.” It also had a picture that said, “Free Stuff,” next to a shopping bag with “Amazon” written on it.
I blocked my number and tried to call both numbers. This number the text came from (323) 775-7100, went straight to a message that said, “This number has not setup their voicemail,” and hung up. When I called the other number that was part of the group (347) 816-0388, a lady answered and said hello, but I just hung up. I blocked both numbers and did not click on the link.
