"Christopher" texted me to see if my table was still for sale. Well, since I just listed it an hour ago on a Sunday morning, well, Yeah, It"s still for sale. Anyway, wanted my Paypal address to pay for it. I gave it to him. Then says the payment was sent and notification should be in my email. I typed back, "I don"t rely on email to see if I have a payment, I am in my Paypal. No payment." All texts ceased after that.

It"s unfortunate that people are being scammed by this guy. I know they are, or he wouldn"t keep doing it. I like to string them along a bit to see what the jig is. He"s obviously sending bogus texts giving people the impression that they received an email from Paypal. So sad.

Yes he is a scammer. He is somewhat illiterate which threw up red flags. I played along a little to see how far he would take it. I"m assuming this person is male. He wanted PayPal transfer for my iPhone. Sent me a email with confirmation of deposit but nothing coinciding with my PayPal account. He is offering military id for credibility but all emails are from fake accounts. Scammer for sure.
