Similar to a previous poster, a young woman named "Olesia Felix" contacted me inquiring about a rental unit in Los Angeles.

Her email: olesia.ffx@gmail.com

But the email was cloaked by another email as well: davis.bally39@gmail.com

She claims to be a forex trader, yet also claims her foreign parents would be responsible for paying her rent. She also was unusually interested in paying for the property right away, even though she made no request to tour it or address the background check I require.

Beware of this scammer.

Found out from this site, this is the person trying to scam money from me. She answered my roommate wanted ad with the exact same email as the one listed in the comment above. Sent me a check and then is bugging me to western union most of it to Iowa. I told her the bank is holding it until it clears. That"s when i got a text message from this number.

Posted an ad on craigslist. She also used the name Olesia Felix. Sent me a bad check for ,150 and wanted me to send her comments,000 to a travel agent whose address did not exist. I sent the check back certified mail to a Scott Young that sent it to me and it was returned undeliverable. Also sent a copy of the check to Tooling Technologies LLC in Ft Laramie OH. Haven"t heard a word. I called First Third Bank in Ohio and they told me the check was no good, Used7062059057 as phone number.

This is a scam and goies along with samcraig8@gmail.com - "She" inquired me about my housing option to rent and when we were all ready for payment, "she" asked which address to send the cashier"s check to. I gave "her" the address and then there was no contact anymore. I originally though t*t was strange that "she" did not want a PO box address, but was not cautious enough. Peggy Davis is another one to avoid. 804-476-0393. She is another one of those with too good to be true pictures, a sob story, and someone else footing the bill. Did not call the number but googled it to find this info. I ran a craigslist ad for house rental and got lots sof responses similar ti this, The want to get personal iformation and claim the want to rent without seeing it.

I don"t understand why we cant shut them down. We have no law enforcement anymore or what. These scammers are scum.

they just tried to SCAM me

using this email: Marie Brown to rent my timeshare.

this is what she wrote:

just received an email response from my Craigslist house share ad from this person. Not the first scammer I"ve had reply, so now i always run the address first if I think it looks suspect and bingo, up pops this site with all of the comments regarding this person.

Avoid communicating with emails from this person and the "Courtney" listed above in an earlier compIaint - I received email replies from the same person and number 360- 207-0902. I also received a series of email replies from this Marie Brown person with a samcraig8@gmail email address. "Her" message is similar to a host of others that have been drafted to try to appear as if they are a U.S. citizen living in a foreign land and needing to rent a place here with a "Dad" or a "Boss" that is waiting to send a cheque - and all that they need is a whole lof of YOUR personal information, like street address (no P.O. Boxes accepted - what a hoot!), phone number and full legal name. Hmmm. Be alert to others that have identical story lines - no doubt some phishing scam to try to invade and empty unsuspecting people"s bank accounts. Here are others to be on the lookout for: Maria Lagati, Sonia Martinez @jenny.terry01@gmail; Clara Smith @clarasmith1987@att.net; Wanja Fransien @ wanjafransen@yahoo.com (note the different spellings of "her" last name); Margaret McKinley; margaretmckinley21@yaho; and the list goes on and on.
