This didn"t even ring on my cell phone! I just rec"d a notification that I had a missed call. I"m listening to a music app with my headphones in, and normally when a phone call comes in, it will interrupt the music to ring. That did not happen, which is very weird.

Don"t understand why everybody has twisted panties about this. It"s a service people can use when they get a call from a number they don"t recognize. They go to spydialer.com and enter the unknown number. The service dials that number"s voicemail box. The user can then listen to the number"s outgoing voice message to see if they know the person who called them. SO, if you hadn"t dialed somebody then hung up without leaving a message, they wouldn"t be spy dialing you now. Go to the SD websiite and find their opt out page. Enter your number there and from then on you"ll never be spy dialed again. Simple, yes?

Just had this number call my phone, I didn"t pick up. I see that someone else has already had trouble with this call. I LOATHE telemarketer calls, especially to my mobile number.

Something I"ve done in the past when I"ve had the time: Try to take up as much of their time as possible, and let them pass you higher up the sales chain (if they have one). Consume as much of their time as possible, asking lots of questions (repeatively), seeming somewhat interested. They are not supposed to hang up on you, and especially if they have a tiered salesperson structure, the people a few levels deep are the ones that make the most money. Then, when you feel like you"ve wasted as much of their time as possible, inform them that you are uninterested in what they are selling & were wasting their time on purpose, and will do so every time until they stop calling.
