Finally when answered the woman, who had a thick accent, didn’t know how to answer so she said “hello this is IRS Team” I lied and mentioned I was a police officer and that she was impersonating a govt official which was illegal. She then challenged me and told me to prove it. In the end I told her she was a liar and that she would be shut down. They say they’ll “cal the local cops” on you. We only own mobile phones. We thought we"d be ridding ourselves of these types of calls, but somehow, they find private numbers. The callers are the same network of scammers. The American Warranty Company 304-309-0919 calls all hours of day and night. The American Pharmacy Company : 253-802-0157 is in Pacific Time Zone, so if you refuse to be scammed locally, they will transfer your number to their cohorts in Seattle, Washington area code to try it again! I also have contacted the AG and an investigator"s getting back in touch with me. This really needs to be cracked down on!
